The Arnold Pal'mule

It was a Friday night, and my husband Jake was craving a Moscow Mule. Unfortunately, we were low on limes and had absolutely no ambition to go to the grocery store. Lucky for us, this drink was created....

It's a mix between the lemony iced tea Arnold Palmer drink and the gingery zip of a Moscow Mule (hence the name the Arnold Pal'mule). We serve ours up in the classic moscow mule mug, but you don't need the glass to make the drink.  It can also be easily converted into a mocktail by removing the alcohol.

The Arnold Pal'mule
-Frozen ice tea cubes (see directions below: you will need 1 bag of Earl Grey tea and 2 cups of hot water.)
-1 1/2 - 2 oz. vodka
-Juice of 1/2 lemon
-1 cold bottle of ginger beer
-lemon wedge or a fresh sprig of mint

Directions: 
1. Boil 2 cups of hot water, and let the tea steep for about 2 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the tea cool until lukewarm. Pour the tea into the ice cube tray and place the tray in the freezer for at least 6 hours (or overnight for the best results). 

2.When ready to make the drinks. Place approximately 4 iced-tea cubes into the glass. Add the vodka, lemon juice, ginger beer. Stir and add the lemons/mint as a garnish. Cheers!
